Ms Ramya Nageswaran

Author | International Advisory Board Member, Poornatha

Ramya Nageswaran is an internationally experienced philanthropy and social impact professional with a background spanning global banking, law, counselling psychology, and community-led development. She is the Co-Founder of BridgeAble (2013–2020), a social enterprise established to make strategic interventions in the social sector by connecting individuals and corporates to credible, high-impact social causes. In November 2025, Ramya joined Poornatha as a member of its International Advisory Board, where she supports the organisation’s mission of strengthening MSME capacity, entrepreneurship, and leadership development beyond India. Alongside her professional work, Ramya is a published bilingual author, having written over 30 short stories in Tamil and co-authored books in Tamil and English. Her literary contributions have earned her multiple awards, including the National Arts Council’s Golden Point Award (Singapore). She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Monash University and continues to contribute to the social sector through advisory, volunteering, and thought leadership roles.
